Hyd airport enhances connectivity to S’pore

GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL) on Sunday announced the launch of new flights by Singapore Airlines. Starting October 29, the Airlines Flight SQ 519 will depart from Hyderabad at 11.20 am, and arrive in Singapore at 18.20 hours (Singapore Standard Time). The return flight, Flight SQ 518 will depart from Singapore at 08.00 hours (SST) and arrive in Hyderabad at 10.15 am.
Singapore Airlines had earlier announced its call to withdraw Scoot, its low-cost airline and subsidiary from Hyderabad. The introduced the wide-body aircraft A350-900 for daily evening departure flight will cater to the demand for long- haul air travel to Singapore, a transit point to Australia, New Zealand and Far East Asia. GHIAL said, ‘The increased frequency of flights to Singapore is a testament to the growing demand for education, tourism and business travel not only from Hyderabad, but also from all major cities in Telangana, AP and other States in South and Central India.”
